Junior Vasquez was responsible for producing mega crossover hits for mainstream divas like Whitney, Mariah, Cher, Elton John, Janet, Tamia, Mary J. Blidge, Beyonce, and many more......

In 2005, teaming up with Junior for her second single, she released "As I Am" and claimed #1 Breakout, Hot Shot Debut and the Power Pick all in consecutive weeks topping the Billboard Dance Chart at #4 with the Pussycat Dolls holding down the #1 spot. In 2013, once again Deepa Soul claimed her reign at the top of the Billboard Charts when she claimed her third top BillboardHit alongside Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus with her #3 Breakout record “FEVA” produced by DJ/Producer Ranny.

Not only is Deepa Soul an accomplished musician, singer/songwriter and vocalist, she is Diedra Meredith the woman leading the New Queer Music Nation serving as the Chairwoman and CEO of Out Music – The LGBT(lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) Academy of Recording Arts (LARA) and the Executive Producer of the OUTmusic Awards the biggest night in LGBT Music & Entertainment.

LARA is a 501c3 non-profit organization, founded as Outmusic Inc. in 1990 by life partners Daniel Martin and Michael Biello. Their dream was to create an alliance of recording artists, musicians, composers, producers, creative industry professionals and supporters who are dedicated to the advancement of out and proud LGBT people in the music, media and entertainment industry. www.outmusicawards.com

Against all odds and with little funding, Diedra and the small core team of dedicated creative industry professionals have worked tirelessly volunteering to build the LGBT music & entertainment platform to shine equivalently to mainstream music award platforms with a state of the art production of the OUTmusic Awards. With the 25th Anniversary of LARA coming in 2015, along with the social change that is taking place in the music industry, LARA is set to make one of the most impactful social and cultural changes in music and entertainment history. The global LGBT music industry is on the rise.

Diedra says, “for far too long, LGBT people have not had a platform. Just like there is a necessity for the Latin Grammy's, BET Awards and the Country Music Awards, he OUTmusic Awards are indeed just as necessary if not more!” Diedra launched a program to mentor homeless and at risk young people with the “I Am Music Project” and strives to use the OUTmusic Awards platform to shine a light on the homeless youth epidemic in America. The mission is to give homeless and at risk young people access to the arts through programming support from LARA and the OUTmusic Foundation.
